Wednesday 27 th and onwards “Wacky” Races continue every Wednesday evening through August. Every TCC boat has an individual start time assigned: see noticeboard in clubhouse for full details and sailing instructions. If taking part, please ensure that on exiting the harbour you advise the Race Officer of the name of your boat, and whether you’re doing the short course or the long. These races are fun events and are not (by most people!) taken too seriously.

Saturday 31st – Warden and Bell Trophy race. Instructions available in the clubhouse.

Wednesdays 3 rd and 10 th – the last “Wacky Races” of the 2008 season – see notes above.

Saturday 6 th at 1000 – Lift-out list will open in the clubhouse. If you want a club lift this winter, your boat’s name must be on this list.

Saturday/Sunday 6 th-7 th – Tarbert trophy races and muster to Tarbert Loch Fyne. Racing instructions will be available in the clubhouse. There will be reserved berthing for TCC boats. Please contact the Harbourmaster on arrival if you can’t see where “our” boats are moored.

Saturday/Sunday 20 th/21 st – Thistle Trophy races and closing muster to Largs Marina. Racing instructions will be available in the clubhouse. Flotilla berthing has been arranged at a fixed price of £14 per boat. Please pay this to the Cruising Convenor, not directly to the Marina. Enquire on arrival (Ch 80) where the TCC boats are to be moored. There may or may not be an organised communal dinner – please check the whiteboard before setting off.
